FAQ

Do I need to pay anything to start?

No. Registration is completely free — no upfront cost or deposit required.

How do I make money? What is my profit ratio?

You set your own prices and sell where you choose.
This is 40–60% of your brand’s sales revenue, depending on the product category and program type. Costs are settled only after sales, ensuring a win-win growth.
You don’t pay anything upfront — we only recover costs after your sales are made.

Where does the 40–60% margin come from?

Margin Logic (A1-A4). We reference four market price bands at the same quality: A1 brand-premium, A2 mid/high positioning, A3 normal non-premium price, A4 distressed price. The typical 40-60% expectation is A3-your agreed cost, your final retail price is 100% your decision.

Who receives the buyer's payment? Can you touch our funds or see sales?

Buyers pay directly to you, via the payment methods you set. We cannot access your incoming funds and do not see your final retail prices or real-time sales. We only bill you the agreed cost when you instruct us to ship. You may also pay offline (check/transfer, etc.).

What if my product doesn’t sell?

You owe nothing.

Do you influence or control our brand building, channels, or sales strategies?

No. We are not a traditional procurement/incubation platform. We assume production/fulfillment risk, but we do not interfere and cannot interfere with your brand creation, channel choices, pricing, promotions, or revenue flows. Those are entirely yours.

Who owns customer data? Do you retain it?

You own all customer data and market information. Even when we fulfill, we do not retain your customer data; this is explicit in our policies. You can also choose self-storage & self-shipping so we cannot even see addresses.

How fast can I launch?

Choosing from the OYB Catalog is the fastest way.
With your assets ready, you can go live in minutes.

Must we use your warehousing and shipping?

No. It’s optional. You can self-store and self-ship, or authorize us. If we handle fulfillment, it does not change data ownership or payment flows (still yours). This flexibility helps early-stage founders scale at their own pace.

Can I submit my own product idea?

Yes. Register first, then email your specs/visuals to product@ownurbloom.com. We’ll assess feasibility, cost, and production timeline before confirmation.

What’s the payout schedule from the platform to us?

No Payout Cycle. There is no platform payout cycle because buyers pay you directly, You pay OYB the agreed cost only when you request shipment,if you don't ship, you don't pay.

How are costs set? If costs change, how do you notify and get approval? Please show USD examples.

Costs are email/written agreed beforehand.Any cost change is announced at least 15 days in advance and takes effect only with your explicit consent. Thanks to centralized procurement and scale, our quotes are typically well below independent sourcing. Illustrative examples:

· Ring R-101 (Quality level X)

Agreed cost: $42 (manufacturing + QC + ready-to-ship packaging)

Market bands for same quality: A1=$180 (brand premium), A2=$140, A3=$100 (normal non-premium), A4=$80 (clearance)

If you price at A3=$100, expected margin ≈ $58 (58%); price higher → more margin; lower → less.

· Watch W-204 (Quality level X+)

Agreed cost: $96

Market bands: A1=$320, A2=$240, A3=$180, A4=$150

If you price at A3=$180, expected margin ≈ $84 (47%).

Your retail price is 100% your decision; our agreed cost stays fixed unless you approve a change.

Can we work without a formal contract? Are your policies legally binding?

Yes. You can collaborate with or without a formal contract. Our published platform policies are our legal commitments to you. Material changes are notified ≥15 days in advance and require your explicit consent. If you don’t agree, your existing terms continue.

Can I brand the product itself (not just packaging)?

Usually yes — coordinate post-registration to confirm feasibility and MOQ.

Who handles shipping and returns?

OYB ships directly — shipping is included in pricing.
Fulfillment is currently U.S.only.
You define your customer policy; OYB handles verified quality issues.

Fulfillment Options: You may self-store/self-ship or authorize OYB to warehouse and ship. Choosing OYB does not change your data ownership or payment flows.

Your Worries vs. Our Receipts

I’m afraid costs will suddenly increase.

All costs must be agreed in writing or by email in advance. Any modification requires written notice at least fifteen (15) days before its effective date and your explicit written consent; otherwise, the original costs remain effective.

I’m afraid you might take our customers.

All customer data and relationships are yours. Even under our fulfillment, we do not retain your data (explicit in our terms). You can also choose self-fulfillment so we cannot even view addresses. Payments go directly to your accounts; we have no access to your funds.

Do you support stablecoin settlement?

Yes, in select regions, subject to KYC/AML compliance.

Do you interfere with or cap our retail price?

Never. Pricing is 100% your decision. We neither know nor can access your final retail prices. Your margin is the difference between your price and the agreed cost.

With custom design/sampling/materials, how do we avoid waste or prank orders?

We propose a pre-sale stage with a jointly set threshold. Pre-sale verifies demand, blocks prank orders, and lets us schedule materials and capacity efficiently. After pre-sale passes, we advance production funds and proceed per your confirmed specs and cost.

Are you just a traditional procurement/incubation platform?

No. We assume production/fulfillment risk, but do not interfere and cannot interfere with your brand building and revenue. We are supply-chain & execution infrastructure, not a controller of your business.

I worry inconsistent quality will hurt our brand.

We produce to your confirmed specs and are responsible for the agreed product quality and any fulfillment we undertake. For custom SKUs, we use pre-sale to validate demand and schedule materials/capacity to keep quality consistent.

I’m afraid the platform will control our business.

We don’t and can’t control your pricing, channels, brand, or payments. You keep pricing autonomy, data ownership, direct payments, and exit freedom. We simply provide agreed-cost production and optional fulfillment.

I’m afraid once we sign, we’re locked in.

You can collaborate without a contract; our published policies are legal commitments. Any material change needs 15-day advance notice + your consent. You can exit anytime without penalty.

I’m afraid custom SKUs will create inventory risk.

Use pre-sale with a joint threshold. Once validated, we advance production funds and proceed to the agreed spec and cost—reducing your cash risk.

Why do founders trust Own Your Bloom?

We’re not another platform taking a cut upfront.
We’re a real incubator built for creators — transparent, fair, and founder-first.
Your brand, your rules, your ownership.
Our role? To remove every financial barrier between your idea and your first customer.

Are you a commission/affiliate or MLM platform?

No. We’re not a commission marketplace or MLM.
We don’t take equity, joining fees, or upline commissions.
You sell independently; we recover product costs only after sales.

What exactly are you responsible for, and what is outside your scope?

We are responsible for the agreed product quality (per your confirmed specs) and for fulfillment we undertake. We are not responsible for your independent sales policies (e.g., how you price, market, or extend returns beyond statutory obligations). Clear boundaries keep operations fair and efficient.

Settlement Methods: Beyond “no fixed payout cycle,” how exactly can we settle with you? Can we settle on your site or use our preferred methods? When do we actually pay?

You have full flexibility:

· You may settle on our website, or use any method you prefer (e.g., bank transfer, check, offline payment).

· You only pay when you instruct us to ship goods (or replenish inventory). If you don’t request shipment, no payment is due.

· There is no settlement cycle or mandatory cadence imposed by us. The cash timing is entirely under your control.

This design ensures you keep cash in your hands and only convert it to cost at your decision point (i.e., when a shipment is needed).
